The Drunken Dragon Inn. This was definitely it. She grabbed the the tarnished handle and entered the dark lodge. A woman behind the counter was brimming a mug with while speaking a man at the bar. He had thick leather armor on armed with a bow and a short sword. He was an Imperial Woodsman. Ava bent down to fiddle with her shoestring, keeping her face in the shadows. She knew he would recognize her if he saw her face, it was only two weeks since the Arena Incident and lying low was her solution. Only after the Woodsman sat in the far corner and became ingulfed in his drink and mutton did she stand and walk to the counter.
The woman behind the bar looked down at her with curiosity.
"Yes?" she questioned.
"Im…Uh….Im here for the potato shipment to the Imperial Bridge Inn." Ava barely got out the last word. She was now nervous and began glancing over towards the Woodsman who had looked up from his drink. What if he knew her secret, what if he recognized her, what if the woman was a spy and this was a trap.m Ava took a step backwards and looked back at the woman. To her surprise the woman began laughing.
"Ahhhh, I had no idea who they would send this time. But a kid?" She shook her head, "Yeah anyway the crates are out back. Renny said he would be up as well so he may stop out back and help you, but most likely not." She laughed again. "They’ve all gone mad haven’t they?" Ava was taken aback by the woman’s response. The guild was her home, and it stung to hear those words. "Alright well off you go youngling, I don’t want your kind hanging around all day! Trouble could break out and think about my business…" she glanced over at the Woodsman in the corner, who was just about finished with his meal. Ava took the chance and crept out the door, closing it softly as she did.
My name is Laura, and I just a year short of being a legal citizen of the United States.
I am a little strange on the inside, and yes I know people think I am weird. That’s probably because I am. I like buckets of stuff. I like lists too, lists are cool. Occasionally I shall post pictures, some of people, most of things. Yes I do enjoy photography, thank you for noticing. Other things that tickle my tongue are men older men, dirt, movies, and rain. My life is run by the Jedi Code, because I too am a Star Wars fan.
